Spring for a Day : My lookbook

Hello Readers!

February is almost a blur and wont last much long,  and while I had been MIA for awhile due to unforeseen circumstances, Mother nature decided to bestow a warm sunny, spring preview today! Hence I decided to play with floral and checked prints and cool white with a splash of green to symbolize an earthy vibe that embodies spring! I am more than ready for Spring Summer ’18 to arrive.

For this work inspired look I decided to pair a classic breezy white ruffle shirt , with a pair of green checked pants and added elements of spring with a floral pom-pom clutch and green statement earrings! The earrings are my current favorite for a statement look (and a little bit of a splurge)

Also, topped it off with a fuzzy faux fur coat to make it more winter-friendly. For warmer days, it can easily be swapped with a cropped cardigan or a draped jacket/blazer.

What i liked about this look is that it can be modified in so many ways to suit the occasion , while just swapping accessories – be it either keeping it minimal or sport a trendy statement look.

These under 40$ Express pointed toe loafers are the comfiest and flattering with a gold detail on the heel. (I got these during the express sale, when they were half off)

Hope you all have a lovely week, and let me know in the comments if you enjoyed this look!
